Information we process
For Zurich bookings, we collect your first and last name, email address, number of guests, team allocations, optional notes, language, event, booking status and booking reference. We also record changes and cancellations. Technical information such as IP addresses, access times and session identifiers may be processed to operate and protect the website.
Why we use this information
We process this information to manage bookings and waiting lists, assign quiz teams to seats, send booking confirmations, changes and reminders, answer enquiries and protect the service. Reservations are free. The site has no functionality for advertising to you or selling personal data.
Recipients and hosting
The website and booking information are hosted using Metanet infrastructure. Technical mail service providers may process messages to deliver booking emails. Event operations require reservation counts, team sizes and, where relevant, notes. For Basel reservations, you contact Porrum directly and provide your enquiry to the bar yourself.
Google Fonts
For consistent typography, your browser loads Barlow and Barlow Condensed via Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google servers to retrieve the fonts; technical data such as your IP address may be transmitted to Google. Google privacy information.
Protection against automated bookings
To prevent automated reservations, we use technical form checks and limits on booking requests. When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, your browser loads a verification script from Cloudflare. Technical information such as your IP address, browser details and verification results may be processed by Cloudflare. This check is used solely to protect the reservation form. Cookies and security
The application uses technically necessary session and security mechanisms for forms, sign-in and booking management. Personal management links contain time-limited digital signatures; do not share these links with others.
Retention and your rights
We retain booking and communication information where necessary to organise events, handle follow-up questions and comply with applicable legal duties. You may request access, correction or, where applicable, deletion of your personal data by contacting us below.
